Let me just say, I have been in the floral industry for over 20 years and to now have a company like BloomNation, equipped with the technology to help small florists like me is simply invaluable. I am so thankful that through this pandemic, I have been able to start something that I've always wanted to do but never possessed the resources to do so, owning my very own business.
That's honestly how I've always approached this industry, ownership. Originally being from Atlanta, Georgia I have had the profound privilege of working with really some of the world's top special events professionals. Being a part of that team was truly a highlight of my life. I learned so much about myself in those years, and those skills are what have carried me through to this very moment.
What started out as a part time job with the family business blossomed into God's calling for me. To discover my gifts as a floral designer! How awesome is that?! I was never that girl that dreamed of getting married or knew anything at all about flowers. When I started with the business I was simply pulling equipment and getting items prepared for that weekends weddings. (Sorry if I didn't mention that part, that was the family business, weddings and special events.) We would eventually do upwards of 20 weddings in a single weekend! Can you imagine that?!I have since left the business and followed my heart and my family out here to the beautiful west coast of California.
I am so excited to be a part of the BloomNation family and I look forward to many happy, profitable years!
